Portfolio
| NETMedia WebWorks has had the distinct pleasure of working with the following clients. Each client is very different, and as you will see each site is also very different. We hold strongly to the belief that each organization should be treated as the unique entity that they are. |
B2B Gathering — www.b2bgathering.com — Pleasanton,
CA
Leads Generating Networking Group
The
original B2B Gathering website did not compliment the other marketing materials for the organization.
This website's look-and-feel was created specifically to match the other marketing collateral. The
website receives hundreds of visitors every month, and as such the old website hindered the recruitment
practices of the group. The recruitment problems have been resolved with the new website. |
Bay Home & Window — www.bayhomeandwindow.com — Pleasanton,
CA
Your Factory Direct Shutter Source
Bay
Home & Window was named by Inc. magazine as one of the 500 fastest-growing companies in the United
States the only company specifically specializing in window coverings to make the list. Even
though the company was growing, it had absolutely no web presence. The website we designed has been
the perfect compliment to the client's other marketing efforts. The site's visitors have increased
exponentially since the site launched in January 2006. As of July 2006 the site was receiving over
500 visitors per month. |
Andrea Charlton, D.C. — www.drcharlton.com — Pleasanton,
CA
Upper Cervical Chiropractor (NUCCA)
We
used Dr. Charlton’s picture when we started to design the Charlton Chiropractic site. The green
background compliments her hair, and we matched the color of the logo to her hair. We designed the
rest of the site to accommodate the large amount of information she has to present. |
The DavRon Team— www.gaydavronteam.com — Pleasanton,
CA
Real Estate Professionals
David
and Ron have been a real estate team for many years, but have just recently started to target the gay
community. We created this site to showcase this aspect of their business, and provide customers with
information that could not be fit into the existing employer-provided website. We worked with their
existing logo, and used colors on the site that would coordinate with this logo and already-created
marketing materials. |
Dublin Sports Pub & Grill — www.dublinsportspub.com — Dublin,
CA
Sports Pub and Restaurant
The
Dublin Sports Pub & Grill is on its way to being a Dublin institution, and their new website is
positioned to help that happen. Designing the site was a bit of a challenge as the owner wanted to
play down the Irishness of the pub, but how do you do that with a huge green shamrock as your logo? We achieved
this by using the green from the logo in select parts of the site, but not letting the logo dictate
the entire look of the site. |
East Bay Leadership Foundation — www.eblf.org — Walnut
Creek, CA
Nonprofit providing college scholarships to underprivileged youth.
We
completely redesign EBLF’s previous website, making this site compliment their new marketing
materials, and accommodating their greatly improved content. The usability of the navigation was improved
and made to scale as their organization grows. We also added the ability for EBLF to take donations
through their website. This site is just the first phase of their redesign – the following two
phases will include database functionality for use by the students and the board of directors. |
Florence Resnikoff Designs — www.florenceresnikoffdesigns.com — Oakland,
CA
One-of-a-Kind Contemporary Art Jewelry and Sculptural Objects
This
e-commerce website was created to showcase and sell the works of Florence Resnikoff. Mrs. Resnikoff
is very well-known in the arts and crafts world, and her pieces are prized by collectors all over the
world. The site is very "simple" in design. The purpose of the simplicity is to let the works
speak for themselves. The artist herself designed the site with strips of construction paper. This
project was great fun—how often do you get to work with a legend in her own time? |
Focus on You Photography — www.focusonyou.biz — Walnut
Creek, CA
Photographer Specializing in Weddings and Portraits
The
Focus on You site was designed elsewhere, but when calls and emails to the webmaster went unanswered,
we stepped in to help. We have recreated various pieces of the site as changes were needed, as we were
not able to get the design files. NETMedia WebWorks can do the same for you, if you are dealing with
a non-responsive webmaster. We enabled Lori to continue with her business and displaying her wonderful
works while providing the responsiveness her business demands. |
Garcia Law Group — www.garcialawgrp.com — Pleasanton,
CA
Business, Real Estate, and Litigation Law Firm
We
came into this project after the initial design was completed. We took what the previous firm created
and made it work. This meant lots of back-end work, and reworking of imagery and content. The result
is a site that has garnered Garcia much attention and new clients.
|
Let's Roll Pedicabs — www.letsrollpedicabs.com — Walnut
Creek, CA
Pedicab Service in Downtown Walnut Creek Shopping District
Let's
Roll Pedicabs was a simple but fun site to do. The client is a hoot, and was terrific to work with.
Being a brand-new business, budget was a major issue, so we went with a simple three-page site. Once
his business takes off, as the Contra Costa Times says it will, we will build a site as creative
as his business. |
Moreality — www.moreality.net — Livermore,
CA
Rock Band ~ Rock with More Reality
The
Moreality website was a departure for us, a very fun departure. This is a local band on the verge of
very big things. The band wanted a big band feel without the big band price tag. This site was created
without Flash, which all the "big" sites used. Flash is expensive to develop and was outside
the budget for this project. The band feels that the site delivers exactly what they wanted. They now
feel like they have the image on the web that conveys who they are and where they are going.
|
Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir — www.oigc.org — Oakland,
CA
Nonprofit Interfaith, Interracial, Multi-Cultural Choir Performing Black Gospel Music
The
Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir needed their existing site revamped in preparation for their biggest
fundraiser of the year, their Annual Christmas Concert. A few changes were made graphically while the
content was revamped. |
Robinson's Cosmetology — www.robinsonscosmetology.com — Concord,
CA
Cosmetology School
This site was designed with a young hip audience in mind, and uses bright colors and images to grab
your attention. The goal of the site is to convey the serious way in which the school takes its responsibility
to its students, while showing potential students that this school is on the cutting edge, and the
only place they want to be. |
Society of Saint Vincent de Paul of Alameda County — www.svdp-alameda.org —
Oakland, CA
Nonprofit Organization Helping the Poor and Disadvantaged
The
Society of Saint Vincent de Paul is a national organization, with District Councils throughout the
country. Each Council is responsible for creating and maintaining their own websites. SVdP was happy
with the look and feel that they had, so that only changed slightly. The major changes were programmatic
and related to formatting and ease of maintenance. CSS stylesheets we used for navigation to allow
for easy site management, allowing the in-house staff to edit navigation within a minute as opposed
to an hour with the old system. Dreamweaver templates were created so that site growth was as simple
as creating a word processing document. The site delivered met all of the needs of the organization
and exceeded expectations. |
Understanding Government — www.understandinggov.org — Washington
D.C.
Nonprofit Helping the Public Understand the Executive Branch of the Government
The
design of the Understanding Government site is very clean and easy to navigate. This website uses our
content management feature allowing the staff to make changes on the fly. This site also uses our blog
feature, and the number of users signing up for the blog continues to grow every week. Understanding
Government has received a significant amount of coverage in the press, thereby sending significant
traffic to the site. Our server has not only been able to handle the traffic, but with no degradation
in speed. |
